What is ParalymArt?

We will be one team with artists with disabilities.
We will not depend on social security funds,
but will operate with the continued cooperation of private companies and individuals.
We will carry out social contribution projects that enable us to continue supporting the disabled.

OVERVIEWWhat is the Paralym Art World Cup 2021?

The Paralym Art World Cup is an international competition for artists with disabilities to shine!
Each year, we have a different theme and welcome entries from all over the world.
Award winners (including Grand Prix and Runners-Up) will be invited to an award ceremony in Tokyo, Japan in January 2022 (TBC).

Eligibility
  • You must have disabilities (you must have a disability certificate or equivalent).
    • *The Paralym Art Executive Office will ask the award winners to provide their disability certificates or equivalent. If you are unable to provide such information, the award will be withdrawn.
  • You must understand and agree to terms and conditions.
    • *Terms and conditions can be viewed on the entry page of the Paralym Art World Cup 2021 website
  • You may choose to enter the competition as an individual or a group.
Submission Dates 1st July 2021 – 7th October 2021
Selection Process (TBC)
  • 1st Round
    October 2021 ～: by the Paralym Art Executive Office
  • Final Round
    November 2021 ～: by Judges, Sponsoring companies & Embassies
  • Announcement of Results
    January 2022: Results will be available on the Paralym Art World Cup website, contact from the Paralym Art Executive Office (winners only), at the award ceremony.
    • *The winners will be notified by the Paralym Art Executive Office.
    • *The award winner must send their original artwork to the Paralym Art Executive Office. The delivery cost will be covered by the Paralym Art.
    • *The Paralym Art Executive Office will contact the award winners individually. You must provide correct details of yourself or representatives in your entry form.
Number of entries One entry per person OR one entry per group.
Artwork Specifications
  • Size: Between A4 and A0（841mm×1189mm）
  • Medium: any media considered as 2D (e.g. colored pencil, oil pastel, watercolor, oil, paper cutting, woodcut, calligraphy or embroidery)
  • *We do NOT accept photography, 3D art, or any artworks with a rough surface that prevents digital scanning.
Entry Process Please read and agree to the terms and conditions before filling the entry form on the Paralym Art World Cup website.
  • *If you do not have Internet access, you will need an agent/representative who can submit your entry on your behalf.
  • *Please digitally scan or take a photo of the artwork (with a smartphone or digital camera) and upload the image of the artwork.
  • *If the entry form is incomplete, the entry will not be considered for the competition.
  • *Please ensure the scanned/photo image has the correct orientation.
  • *No changes can be made to your entry once it is submitted.

As no one is the same, there are millions of different ‘SMILE’s in the world. The Paralym Art World Cup 2021 welcomes artworks from all over the world that reflect your idea of ‘SMILE’! There will be cash prizes for the Grand Prix and Runners-Up!
We look forward to receiving your entries!

Privileges for the Award Winners

Some award winners (including Grand Prix and Runners-Up) will be invited
to the award ceremony in Tokyo, Japan in January 2022 (TBC)!
There will be various supplementary prizes for the winners.

Important Notice

  1. ① We only accept entries through the Paralym Art World Cup website. Please do NOT send the original artwork to the Paralym Art office.
  2. ② We do not consider entries that do not follow the guideline above (e.g., larger artwork or entries with incomplete information).
  3. ③ Please make sure to create artworks on this year’s theme ‘SMILE’.
  4. ④ If sponsoring companies are interested in using the award winner’s artwork, the artwork may be printed on their products. We may ask the winner for some modifications to the artwork in some cases. If any of the winners’ original artwork is sold, or if sponsoring companies produce profits by using the artwork, we will pay the artist accordingly. Please note that we will not return the winners’ original artwork.
  5. ⑤ Please ensure the copyright of submitted artwork belongs to at least one of the following: you, your organization, your guardian, or your agents/representatives.
  6. ⑥ There may be the secondary use of provided information during and after the Paralym Art World Cup.
  7. ⑦ Regardless of receiving a prize or not, submitted artwork may be presented on Paralym Art’s website or may be printed to advertise its organization or its competitions.
  8. ⑧ We may ask trusted third parties to run part of the competition. They are under the supervision of Paralym Art when handling the personal information of applicants.
  9. ⑨ We are unable to respond to individual requests regarding the selection process.

Important Information for the Award Winners

  • If you live in an area with limited postal service by EMS, we will not be able to send you supplementary prizes. Instead, we will email you the award certificate.
  • The award winners must send the original artworks to the Paralym Art World Cup Executive Office. Please follow the delivery procedures for your shipping fees to be covered by the Paralym Art World Cup Executive Office. If you do not follow our guideline and used different shipping methods, we do not cover the shipping fees.

[Cash Prize]

If you win the award with a cash prize, the Paralym Art World Cup Executive Office will use PayPal to send the prize money overseas. Please make sure that you can receive PayPal payments.
If you are unable to access PayPal, we will send the prize money through bank transfers. Any transaction fees will not be covered by the Paralym Art World Cup Executive Office.

Deadline for entries to the ParalymArt Cup World Championships 2021 has been extended to October 7! Due to popular demand, we have decided to extend the deadline for entries to the ParalymArt Cup World Competition 2021 for one more week until October 7.

The deadline for entries to the ParalymArt Cup World Championships 2021 has been extended by one week to October 7. For those of you who have given up because you couldn't make it in time, or for those of you who want to work on your artwork a little more.
